Dream Big Ghana NGO is a not-for-profit charity that’s sole aim is to improve health care, education and sanitation for the local people of the Dzita and Agbledomi villages in Ghana’s Volta Region.
Money for the charity is raised via bespoke, eco-friendly holiday experiences that include trips and activities which are organised for guests, by the Meet Me There African Home Lodge. A percentage of these funds enable Dream Big Ghana to deliver sanitation and education programmes, and to also focus on other core areas including community health and youth sports development.
Dream Big Ghana aims to identify community needs and employ available resources to make sure these needs are met in sustainable ways. To date 67 toilets have been built within the two communities, this benefitting 1340 people.
PFTP will be selling tickets for a music and arts weekender festival that will be hosted by Meet Me There, next year. The booking fees from the ticket sales will be donated to Dream Big Ghana.
